Cravings for Lush!

Do you ever find you have a massive need for some retail therapy?

I do.

Especially when I have been saving really well! The other day I checked my bank balance and was quite proud of myself.

So I instantly felt the need to spend it!

I've actually found starting a blog has made this WORSE as I validate buying beauty products by saying I'll post about them!

What I wanted to spend my money on in this particular instance was virtually the entire Lush store (unfortunately I did not have THAT much money.)

But - for once - I didn't spend it!

Instead, I am compiling a list of what I would have bought at Lush!

Product Number One. Fresh Farmacy.

I honestly think this could be the perfect product for my skin. My skin is both sensitive and blemish prone. I have heard so many good things about this product, about it doing wonders to clear up acne and yet it also has really gentle ingredients like chamomile which are said to sooth the skin! Needless to say I really really want to try it!

Product Number Two. Vanilla Puff Powder.

Vanilla is one of my favourite scents and I always remember how much I loved using talcum powder after showers when I was younger and how nice it made my skin feel. I cannot remember when or why I stopped using it, but I think this seems like it would be a great replacement. I would love to try it out! I would be interested to see how strong the scent is, as occasionally I find Lush's scents to be a little stronger than I care for. I would also like to see how much I need to use to get that beautiful soft skin result. I think it would be an interesting trial!

Product Number Three. Karma Komba Solid Shampoo

On the Lush website it says this "is the shampoo bar to calm hair that keeps starting fights and ends up in tangles." This is my hair all over. It's crazy! So I would love a product that can tame that nastiness!

Product Number Four. Jungle Solid Conditioner.

It says that you should use this with Karma Komba Shampoo and it sounds so nourishing I am sold. I will try anything that offers a solution to the knot fest that is my locks.

Product Number Five. Heavanilli Massage Bar.

As I said above, I love vanilla. I also love massages. I also happen to have an extremely lovely boy in my life who is amazing at massages! I've never used a solid massage bar but I would really love to try it out and see how it melts because, on first impression, it's a bit of a weird concept to me! And vanilla is a scent I just adore so that's why I want to try this one in particular.

One day, when I've saved up a little bit more, I do plan to have this big shop at Lush. There is just something about their products which I think are really cool and innovative!

  1. I love Lush! It used to be one of the first stops when we would go over to Melbourne. Straight to Lush to buy bath boms and skin products galore! I even went to Lush when I was in Tokyo and had to have the labels translated so I know which tub was moisturiser!
Now we are lucky enough to have Lush in Perth and I can wander down to the Plaza arcade whenever I feel like it!

  2. Sooo many people rave about Fresh Farmacy!

I'm intrigued by that vanilla powder. Never heard of it before but I looooove anything vanilla so I probably need to jump on it. haha

  3. I know I have heard more people than I can count raving about Fresh Farmacy.

Bonnie- Lush has always been a destination shop for me too - anytime I'm in Melbourne city I go there, and now that I go to uni in the city, that's all the time! It's great that they have it in Perth now! They do seem to just keep expanding (not a bad thing in my mind!)

I actually recently went to Lush to buy some of this stuff and ended up buying completely different stuff but it is AMAZING! Get ready for a super excited post!
