Excitement in the life of a Pale Girl!

Recently, cosmetics brand Models Own had a challenge of sorts on their facebook page where, if they got to 50,000 likes by a certain date (of which I have no recollection) EVERYONE who likes their page was to recieve 50% off EVERYTHING on their online store. That is EVERYONE and EVERYTHING.

I actually feel a bit bad now, because I'm getting all excited and its over so you gorgeous readers can't take advantage of this amazing deal. But if you already did, woo! Tell me what you bought!

Anyway, I jumped on that bandwagon more quickly than you would ever expect from someone as unfit as me!

When they did reach 50,000 I rushed to their website to start purchasing. All this running around sounds exhausting doesn't it?

So, I've been in the market for some cream eyeshadows recently and so I bought almost all of their colours. I haven't received them in the post yet so no photos as yet but here is a link so you can see Models Own Cream Eyeshadows I got all the colours except for Mash-up Mauve and Fix-up Fudge because I wasn't too sure about those colours and if they'd be too strong on my fair skin, plus I was on a rather strict budget. I really love neutrals and soft colours at the moment though so I happily chucked all the others in my cart. I am now waiting with breath that is bated for their arrival and will get straight into reviewing as soon as I have opened that box.

I also got some blush. I LOVE blush. I don't use bronzer. In all honesty I am scared of it in case I end up like this

Just kidding Valentino, I love you!

Anyway, I've always thought blush suited my style a lot better anyway. I got two of the blushers: warm glow and peach blush. I didn't get the pinky one because I already have one that looks really similiar, and I've been wanting to experiment with peachier blushes anyway because I have seen it done really well on pale skin.

So hopefully I'll end up more like this:

But, you know, brunette.

Ah, wouldn't it be nice?
